Katie Bowman is an artist, stand-up and improv comedian based out of Denver. Bowman’s voice is best described as confessional and goofy. She strives to connect with the audience with bits about her life as a social underdog using voices and act outs. Bowman created her own small art business, The Curly Bush in 2020. Bowman has been featured as The Comic of the Week on The Jackie and Laurie Show podcast. Bowman is the host of the podcast, Help Me, I’m Scared with Katie Bowman. Bowman has performed at Cloudtop Comedy Festival, Altercation Comedy Festival, The High Plains Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, Southwest Chief Bicycle and Comedy Festival, Alaska B4UDIE Fest, The Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains All Agency Conference of 2018. She has opened for many greats like Derek Sheen, Ron Lynch, Laurie Kilmartin, The Grawlix, Atsuko Okastuka, and Todd Barry. She produces a local comedy show in Denver at Sushi Hai with Brad Galli.

Katie Bowman Graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History degree. She had a focus in printmaking, painting and drawing and still continues to create multimedia pieces of art that revolve around her social life and interests. Her work is explosive in expression and color. Each piece gushing with strokes of every color. Bowman has done live painting and drawing for comedy shows like Picture This and We Still Like You. She has been featured in various showcases such as The Colorado Vibes showcase at Spectra Art Gallery, RAW Artist showcase, as well as showcasing her art at local businesses such as Odyssey Brewing, Voodoo Comedy Playhouse, Call to Arms Brewing and more. Bowman recently self published a comedic illustrative book of a compilation watercolor paintings that conveyed jokes and experiences that happened throughout the pandemic of 2020. The book is called the Covidian Woman and you can purchase it as well as other pieces she has made on her Etsy shop, the Curly Bush.
