Katie Bowman is a local artist, stand-up and improv comedian based out of Denver. Bowman’s voice is best described as confessional and goofy. She strives to connect with the audience with bits about her life as a social underdog using voices and act outs. She hosts selected New Talent Night shows at Comedy Works in Denver. Bowman has performed at the 50 first Jokes Denver edition of 2018, I Don’t Think So Honey podcast recording at Comedy Works, Beast Village Comedy Festival, The High Plains Comedy Festival, The Longmont Laugh Fest, Southwest Chief Bicycle and Comedy Festival, Alaska B4UDIE Fest, The Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains All Agency Conference of 2018. She has opened for many greats like Derek Sheen, Ron Lynch, Judah Friedlander, The Grawlix, Sam Tallent, Baron Vaughn, Maggie Maye and Todd Barry. She hosts a monthly showcase at Call to Arms Brewing Company every second Wednesday of the month at 8 p.m. You can also catch her around Denver performing at local spaces.
Katie Bowman Graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History degree. She had a focus in printmaking, painting and drawing and still continues to create multimedia pieces of art that revolve around her social life and interests. Her work is explosive in expression and color.
